SalesTaxCalc is designed with privacy first. All calculation data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information or calculation data to our servers.
What Data We Store
- Calculation History: Your past calculations are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. This data never leaves your device.
- User Preferences: Any settings you configure are stored locally in your browser.
- No Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This helps us improve the service. Ahrefs collects anonymous usage data such as page views and session duration, but does not track personal information.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for tracking purposes. Any cookies present are solely for essential site functionality.
Your Data Rights
- You have full control over your data stored locally in your browser.
- You can clear your calculation history at any time using the "Clear History" feature.
- You can clear all site data by clearing your browser's local storage and IndexedDB.

Since all data is stored locally in your browser, it persists until you manually delete it. We have no access to this data and cannot delete it on your behalf.
